The party has completed their adventure in Phandalin, having removed Nezznar the Black Spider from power and restoring the Phandelver Pact amongst the miners. Inside Wave Echo Cave they came across a map left behind by an adventurer before them that hinted at some other magical artifacts in a temple across the sea. Notably, the map and handwriting matched the style of letters given to [[Declan the Reborn]] when he started his journey as a Paladin.
The journey starts as the party approaches the city of [[Slateford]].
Lead players towards passage to [[Veleth]]. The enemy has been using spice shipments to conceal poison smuggling. Officials in Veleth have contacted [[Gersephone]] to help, as she is known to be uniquely acquainted with poisons. This should also get [[Lili]] on board, which might help drive some of the party as well. The poison has been slowly spreading across the continent, even beginning to affect remote towns like Phandalin. (Receive word that Paddington has become ill?)
